To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: There are some lo`i claims which however jump in various places. At Loaloa are 16 lo`i, at Kaalaea are 7 lo`i, at Kaopala are 14 lo`i, at Punia is 1 lo`i. They are in Waikapu, Maui. I received them from the konohiki in the first months of 1839.

Hakili, sworn, I know the lands of the claimant. They consist of 6 pieces in Waikapu and one in Kula.
No. 1 is 7 lois in the ili of Kaalaea.
No. 2 is a section of lois in Kaopala.
No. 3 is a section of lois in Kaloaloa.
No. 4 is one loi in the ili of Pania.
No. 5 is a kula in the ili of Kaloaloa.
No. 6 is House lot in the ili of Kaopala.
No. 7 is Potato ground in Kula.
Nos 2, 3, 5 & 6 he received from Kaai in 1842, and he from his father in ancient times. Nos 4 & 1 from Naiea in 1835, and Napuupahoehoe in 184 ....
