To the Commissioners: In accordance with the law enacted In 1845 and in effect 60 days thereafter, I. the undersigned, the one who has a land right, in the city of Honolulu, am explaining my claim to this house lot, and the truth of how I acquired this place.
I acquired this place by purchase from Huaka. Hepa has a lot makai of the lot of Lamikana /by my small lot which Huaka got. Mauka of Keaniani's lot, which was Huaka's Place, is the one which I purch ....

Answer: For Kanae, perhaps. I do not know about the life of long ago.
