I have herewith enclosed you a copy of the document drawn by you for lands given me by Hoapili Wahine, not knowing the form I should use in presenting my claims to the Board of Commissioners, I beg to request you will be kind enough to do it for me I shall ever remember with gratitude our kindness

I, Hoapili Wahine, hereby confirm for ever to William Shaw and his Hawaiian-born heirs, a certain farm in Honokawai by the name of Haenanui, which farm has a fishing ground connected with it.
I also give him another farm by the name of Loinui which extends up into the mountains.
I also further give to the said Shaw and his heirs a certain farm in Waikapu by the name of Waiolimu.
Said lands with all their privileges are confirmed forever, to the said Shaw & his Hawaiian born heirs, the farms are held however in every respect subject to the laws of the Kingdom.

George was on the mauka property, probably John Lewis had built the houses because he had lived there until his death and I was there when John Lewis died and the king had said to me, "You are his heir, everything is for you. John and George lived together with John and with the husband of his mother sometime. I do not know who had built the enclosure. but a pili grass house is in there.
It was postponed until there is a return to Oahu at which time work will be resumed.
