I hereby petition you for my house lot claim in Kailua. It has not been measured, however. The nature of our occupancy and the length of time, was before Kamehameha I - We do not know how long the occupancy was. When the first makuas /the seniors/, and also our makuas died, they having all died, we, the keikis, now live in the place where they lived. That is my claim.

Makai by Kupeina's land
Kohala by Catholics lot.
Lot has been enclosed, 3 houses in there, Haleokane lives there. Land from Huhu at the time Kuakini was living, no one has objected.
Kimo, sworn, both have known similarly.
