To the Land Commissioners, greetings, in God: I, the one whose name is below, hereby state my claim for land in the `ili of Kookuakua, in the Ahupua`a of Waimea. There are six loi`s. On the north of my five lo`i are the lo`is of Kaawa, on the northeast is Kanuwahine, on the southeast is Kamoo /and/ Kalihau, on the west is a pali. The sixth lo`i is bounded on the north by the lot of Mikuwini /Mr. Whitney/, on the northeast by a small house of mine, on the south by the house of Kamiki /Smith?/, on ....
