To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: I hereby tell you of my land claim in the `ili `aina at Kaukahoku in Honolulu. There are fifteen taro patches and a house lot. Five taro patches are /bounded/ on the west by Puaauhuhu's place, on the north are the patches of Keauiaole, on the south are the patches of Napuaauhuhu, on the south is Keauiaole's place. Two taro patches are in another place; on the south is Kamaala's place, on the west is Kailiahukea's place, on the north is Keauiole's place, and a little kula is on the east of Keauiaole's pl ....

Five patches in these boundaries belong to Puaauhuuhu, who is the son of Kuaana. Kuaana has 22 patches there, one pasture and a house. This interest was received during the lifetime of Kinau and no one had objected."
