To the Land Commissioners, Greetings and Peace: I, Pili, hereby tell you of my claims for five patches, a kula, and a house lot at the `ili `aina of Puunui, between another Puunui and Honolulu, Island of Oahu. I lived there for a long time before the enactment of the Law.

Kahaa, sworn, This land is in Puunui, Honolulu aina.

1. First is a house lot, bounded:
Mauka by Puhau's & Kaiui's yards
Waititi by Kahea's
Makai by Kahope's &
Ewa by Kanui's places.

It is fenced by stone and has two houses belonging to Pili.

2. Kalo land of 3 patches, bounded:
Mauka by Kanui's
Waititi by Kanehaielua's< ....

This is a single patch with no fence and no house.

4. The boundaries of the pasture section are:
My property, toward the mountain
Puhau's land, Waikiki
Pili's patches, toward the sea
My property, Ewa.

5. The boundaries of the second section of the pasture are:
Kaehu's lot, toward the mountain
Puhau's land, Waikiki
Kahope's lot and Kaiwi's lot, toward the sea
My houselot, Ewa.

Pili's land had been from Puhau during Kaahumanu's time and no one has objected to this day.

Mahuka, sworn and said, "I have seen this property exactly as Kaha has related here.
