Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby tell you of my little claim for a mo`o `aina within the `ili `aina of Auwaiolimu in Honolulu. My mo`o `aina is within that `ili and also my house lot, under the konohiki. This is what I am telling your Honors. I am, with aloha, - on the day you call me, I will come with the proper witnesses.

Kahele received these sections of land in the year 1836 from Liliha and he had lived there till the year 1841, when all of the land became mine with the exception of this place which has been for Kahele to this day."
Kekino, sworn and said, "My testimony for this land of Kahele is the same as Keaweluahi has just related here."
