To the Land Commissioners. Greetings: I hereby tell you of my land claim at Kawaiiki in Honolulu; Three small patches and the irrigation ditch. Two patches are alongside Kaukaliu"s patches and one is alongside those of Kamaikahulipu. They have been held peacefully under the konohiki.

Kaukuliu, sworn, This place is in Kawaiiki, Honolulu aina. It is kalo land in two lots.

Mauka by Kamaikahulipu"s lot
Waititi by Paeahi
Makai by my place
Ewa by Kamaikahulipu"s lot.

.... awi had given Maa this in the year 1842 which he had received from Kamaikahulipu during Kinau"s reign and he has lived there since that time to the present; no one has ever objected."
Kaiwi, sworn and stated, "I have seen this property exactly as Kaukaliu has just stated here. No one has objected. Kamaikahulipu had given me my interest and this was granted by request."
