To the Honorable Land Commissioners of the Hawaiian Islands, Greetings: I hereby tell you of my land and house claim, at Poohilo in Honouliuli, Ewa, Oahu. It is bounded on the north by a pa`ahao patch /government plot/ and the land of Hinaa, on the east by the land of Hinaa, on the south by the land of Kauakahilau, on the west by the land of Kauakahilau. The second of my claims is bounded on the north by the land of Manaole, on the east by the land of Kauakahilau, on the South, Hopenui, on the west, the land of Kekua. My third claim is bounded on the north by the land of Kauak ....

Kauhailepa's land is from Kanakahilau given at the time of Kinau; no one had objected. Kauakahilau is a konohiki for Kekauonohi.
