To the Honorable Land Commissioners of the Hawaiian Islands, Greetings: I hereby tell you of my claim for land and house. This land is at Kaaumakua, Honouliuli, Ewa, Island of Oahu. It is bounded on the north by the land of Nainu, on the east by the land of Pio, on the south by the land of Hilea, on the west a po`alima patch. The second of my claims is bounded on the north by some bulrushes, on the east by the irrigated land of Kaope, on the south by the land of Kalama, on the west by the patches ....

Naholowaa's land, mauka
the Honolulu side and the
remaining two sides are for Kekauonohi only.
And the boundaries of the second section are:
my property, mauka
Ke-kauonohi's land, Honolulu, makai and Waianae.
Kaimuena's land is from Kaope acquired in the year 1825;no one had objected."
Kauhailepa, sworn and stated, "I have seen this property exactly as Nunu has just related here."
