To the Honorable Land Commissioners of the Hawaiian Islands, Greetings: I hereby tell you of my land claim at Kaaumakua, Honouliuli, Ewa, Island of Oahu. It is bounded on the north by the stream of Makaii, on the east by the land of Kalauhala, on the south by the land of Kauouo, on the west by the land of Nunu and the land of Kaumauma. This place was given me by my wahine, formerly, until now.

The house claim is bounded on the north by the houses of Kaumauma, on the east by the shore of Kaaumakua, on the south by the pali of Holeinui. My land claim is at Nukee, Honouliuli, and it is bounded on the north by the land of Aaron Nakai, on the east by the land of Kaalauahi, on the south by the taro patch of Kuai ....

3. And the boundaries of the house lot are:
Kaunuuna's land, mauka
The beach, Honolulu
Kaope's pasture, makai and
his land, Waianae.

The place is fenced, Pio has one house there and he has lived in peace to this day. Pio's lot is from Hapai. He had bequested it upon his death to Pio in the year 1836.

Liliu, sworn and said, "I have seen this property exactly as Kahakuliilii has just related here."
