The Land Commissioners, greetings: I, Wana Kupia, a Hawaiian subject living at Hanapepe on the island of Kauai, hereby state my claim for land held from ancient times, named Kamoku. This was received from Kaumualii. The land became the possession of the Hawaii people after the Kauai war, and the land was held by Kaikioewa who gave me an area, Kamoku, at Kaauwaikahi, which I held until the time of Kekauonohi.
