Greetings to the Land Commissioners sitting on the island of Oahu: I hereby explain my claim for a house lot and my occupancy at Waioli on the island of Kauai. On the west side it is 29 fathoms, and adjoins close to Kalohiau's lot, on the east side it is 29 fathoms and is close to Naniho's lot, on the south side it is 17 fathoms, on the north side it is 17 fathoms.

These are the three lo`i which I possess at Waioli; their dimensions are shown in the diagram. There is also a kula for these three lo`i, which is 37 fathoms long by 29 fathoms wide, a circumference of 132 fathoms.

Boundaries of the house lot are:

Section 1:
Mauka by Government road
Napali by Between Lohiau and Kaupe's place is a road
Makai by Government road
Koolau by Kulou's lot.

Section 2 - Seven loi.
Mauka by Pakeke's land
Napali by Hokualoa pali
Makai by Wainioi land
Koolau by Waioli river.

Section 3 - 3 lois.
Mauka by Waikunono pali
Napali by Government pasture
Makai by Government pasture
Koolau by Nika pasture.
