To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: Because of the enactment of the law of the Mo`i, saying for claimants to state their claims, therefore, I hereby state my claim at Laie, Island of Oahu. I, S. W. Kaaipuaa, am the one who wrote the letter in the month of December to state my claim, and therefore, I again ask that my claim be worked on. To explain my claim, I have a mo`o at Kaholi, that is the name of the mo` ....

.... the northeast on the row of hau trees of Kaaweku, straight as the row of hau trees, descending to the valley to the gourd mala of Namomoku, thence turning and running to the northeast to the place of beginning. Those are the boundaries of my kula. One kula a mala of gourd, is at Puukauwila. One mala of `awa is at Kepoi.
Those are my claims.
