Kaukapawa, sworn, says I know the lands of Claimant in Haena as follows - House lot, Loko "Naia" & kula adjacent all in one piece.

Claimant received these lands from his brother who died about 1839. They had been held by his relatives from the days of Kaumualii & through the year 1840. Mokuohai came to Haena & begged of Claimant a place to set a house & also a place to plant kalo. Nanahu allowed him to put a house on his lot & to plant kalo in a part of the Loko "Naia." (The house lot & Loko is the same ....

Mahi, sworn, he has personally seen Nanahu's land in Haena consisting of a house lot, a pasture and a pond, Naia all in one piece.
