Application for certificate of the boundaries of the Ili of Pau and the Leles thereof, in Waikiki and Manoa, Island of Oahu

To Richard F. Bickerton, Esquire, commissioner of Boundaries for the Island of Oahu

J. Mott Smith, Edwin P. Hall and Sanford B. Dole, trustees under the will of William C. Lunalilo, deceased, show as follows: the Ili of Pau situate in Waikiki on said Oahu was awarded by the Land Commissioner to the said William C. Lunalilo by name only and not by boundaries decided or set forth in the award.

Belonging to the said Ili as Leles thereof and as such held by the said William C. Lunalilo during his lifetime under the said award are seven pieces of land, six of which are situate in said Waikiki and one in said Manoa.

The owners of the adjoining lands to the said Ili of Pau, so far as known to your petitioners, are Kiikaalani, wife of Zoe living in Nuuanu, Makoko, Keiki and Paoa living in said Waikiki. Kapule and Ruth Keelikolani, and Kamalie.

The owners of the adjoining lands to “Kaihikapu and Milohai” one of the said leles, are, so far as known to your petitioners, Crown Commissioners; Keiki, Kawai, [page 389] Nailipelapela, Antone Lopez, and Ruth Keelikolani.

The owners of the adjacent lands to Maui, one of the said leles, are, so far as known to your petitioners, Paoa, Keiki, Hawaiian Government and a Chinaman.

The owners of the adjoining lands to Opukaaleekula and fish pond, one of the said Leles, are, so far as known to your petitioners, Ruth Keelikolani, Hananamoku, Maria Kehai and Likelike.

The owners of the adjoining lands to Opukaala “he mau loi elua” designated in the notes of survey as Apana 2 of Opukaala and being two kalo patches separate from each othe ....
