Boundary of Hanokoa part belonging to Government

The eastern and western part of the land belongs to Government. The centre or middle part belongs to a native called Mokuahai, awarded to him by the Land Commission

Nakulala, sworn, The eastern boundary of this land commenced on the sea shore adjoining Hanakapiai at a place called Waipinakea [Waipunakea] and thence to a stone called Kailua; thence
To a point in cliffs Hoolulu ....

.... nce down valley and stream to a rock in the sea a short distance from the shore, resembling a shark, the boundary runs over said rock, tradition giving the head to Pohakuau and the tail to Hanakoa, said rock is called Pohakukimano.
