The southwest boundary of this land commences at the sea beach at a point called Manaloa and joining the Southeast corner of Kalaheo and runs thence North 0 3' East 6780 links crossing a gully and point of rocks call to a place called Kaluahine pilau. Thence
North 22.52 East 2457 links to a large pile of stones called Makaulii; Thence
North 9° 41' East 3188 links to top of ridge called Kapuhikana; thence
North 24° 53' East 1238 links, down side of hill and over pali to rock called Upoupo; thence
South 84 East 584 links crossing stream and along foot of spur, to side of stream called Haliiopai; thence
North 30° 0 East 168 links crossing stream to a large stone called Haliiopai, situated between two streams; thence
North 9° 47' East 792 links, running up a sharp narrow ridge [page 40] to two stones let into the ground; Thence
North 2° 29' West 940 links along east side of range, to a tall stone let into the ground; thence
North 13° 8' West 1360 links to a stone with a knob let into the ground at a place called Kamalewaa; thence

The Eastern boundary of this land commences at a point on the sea shore at a sand stone rock on the west side of Kukuiula harbour and runs thence
North 31° 4 West 580 links to a corner of a stone wall makai of road way; thence
North 28° 0 West 2648 links to a red hill to the west of Aepo Stream; thence
North 20° 12 West 7275 links to a stone let into the ground, on the south side of a large hole called Kapeleula; thence
North 28° 43' West 1516 links to an iron bolt let into the ground in a hole close to aroad; thence North 0° 13' west 700 links to a hole at Puuakamailii;
North 20° 35' West 450 links to a hole at Namahana;
North 0° 1 West 1840 links to a gully and over a ridge to a hole on side of hill, a trench [page 41] [diagram: 3 petals of 2 up and 1 down ]' thus
North 24° 41' East 844 links to two mile stone on sough side of Government road from whence the following places bear: a sharp peak called Halo on ridge back of Mahaulepu North 72° 56' East; the top of Puukolo o this boundary North 3° 40' West; the highest peak of Kaluli North 9° 30' West; thence
North 12° 45' East 1830 links to the top of a red bluff;
North 55° 0' West 890 links along ridge from red bluff;
North 49° 45' west 940 links along said ridge;
North 39° 46 West 2335 links along said ridge to top of a hill called Kaluamoa on Kanani; thence
North 17° 30' East 103.00 links to Puukolo, the water shed of the ridge being the boundary between this land and Koloa; thence following along the water shed of ridge, in a northwest direction to Kalualea gap, the north corner of this land and containing and [sic] area of 3 acres, at mostly all the places stationson the survey three stones have been let into the ground [3 stones forming triangle] or trenches cut [diagram 3 petals]; the bearings herein recorded are 8° 31' East of true North.
