Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I have a houselot at Aki in Lahaina. Here are the witnesses: Keaweluaole, D. Malo, Kuakamauna, Kamakini, Kaauwai, Kapena, Mahune.

Z. Kaauwai, sworn, Keaweluaole's land was from Pikanele and I was the counselor for that place before and our minds were set for living there. Nearly six months later, Keaweluaole was telling me that Kaenaena ma had been granted to set apart a lot and live with us on the property. I have personally seen that place and I have heard accurately Keawel ....

Olowalu by Nawaakoa's lot

Kaanapali by Pika's lot.
Land from Mrs. Hoapili in 1841. Peaceful living to the present. One stone building here is for the government and was built by prisoners, the land was for Kaenaena. Kaenaena died at sea in California. Bequested this land to his son, Simona, and Kenui was given custody of the boy.
Hoohei, every statement above is true. I have known in the same way.
