Greetings to you all: Here below are our claims:
To the Land Commissioners, Greetings to you all: I hereby state my claim for a mo'o in the 'Ili of Kikiewelawela kai, Ahupua'a of Heeia, District 6, Division 2, Island of Oahu. There are nine lo'i and two kula, next to the Konohiki, and the mo'o of Kekohai. 1847. I have a right from the Konohiki until this day on which I petition.

.... i, sworn say, I know claimant's land. It [is] in Heeia, the Ili of Kikiwelawela and is as follows: 5 taro patches and a house lot.
No. 1. 5 taro patches.
No. 2. House lot.
No. 1 ils bounded:
Mauka by the taro land of Kapule
Koolauloa by upland of Kikiwelawela
Makai by the taro land of Paekane
Kailua by the taro land of Makaiioulu.
No. 2 is bounded: On all sides by the upland of Kikiwelawela.
Claimant had his land from Palaau in the year 1844 and has had it in peace to the present time.
