Land Patent No. 8132 In Confirmation of Land Commission Award
Whereas, the Board of Commissioners to quiet land titles did by Land Commission Award No. 11216 Apana 12 award to M. Kekauonohi, an estate of Freehold less than Allodial in the land hereinafter described:
And whereas proper application having been made to the Commissioner of Public Lands by A.W. Carter, Treasurer for the American Sugar Company, a corporation duly incorporated under the laws of the Territory of Hawaii, for a Patent on the herein described land, and whereas a certificate of boundaries, defining the same having been duly filed and the Government Commutation thereon was released by the Surrender of various lands to the Government as set forth and of record in Volume 9 of Land Commission Awards on Page 662,
Therefore, the Governor of the Territory of Hawaii, in conformity with the Laws of the
United States of America and of the Territory of Hawaii, by this Patent makes known to all men that he has this day granted and confirmed absolutely, in Fee Simple, unto M. Kekauonohi, all of the land situate at Naiwa, in the District of Kona, Island of Molokai, bounded and described as follows:
1. North 5° 32" East true 320 feet along Ooia, Land Commission Award 7755 to Kaluaokamano along fish pond wall;
2. North 36° 47" West True 77.9 feet along same along fish pond wall to cross cut on stone;
