Royal Patent upon Confirmation of the Land Commission
Whereas the Board of Commissioners to Quiet Land Titles have by their decision awarded unto Joseph Booth (Claim No. 273) an estate for life in and to the land hereafter described to go to his Hawaiian born children and their heirs, they being Hawaiian subjects forever.
Therefore, Kamehameha, by the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this royal patent, makes known unto all men, that he has, for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given unto Joseph Booth, all that certain piece of land situate at Hili, Honolulu, in the Island of Oahu, and described by natural and surveyed boundaries as follows:
Commencing at South corner of this land, the corner of large stone surrounding it, the north corner of stone wall enclosing Little Greenwich along Stone Trail including it, up the Pauoa side of the land to end of wall at gulch called Puiwa, and the mauka ....
