I, the undersigned, hereby tell you of my claim for house lot and land, as directed by the Land Commissioners. It is in the `Ili of Auwaiolimu in Honolulu.
My occupation of that land is from the reign of Kamehameha III, just after the death of Liholiho in London, When Boki and Liliha were at the Fort. From that time to this, I have lived on the land. Keaniani was the first konohiki, when I "ate the land" ....
