To the Land Commissioners of the Hawaiian Islands, Greetings: I hereby tell the claim for my house lot. It is in Honolulu, however on the north side of the stream.
The boundaries are: north, land of Nakookoo; east, lot of Kaleimakalii; south, also lot of Kaleimakalii; west, lot of Haupu.

Namauu, sworn by the Word of God and stated, "That property had been for my parents and Awehe was Naleilehua's subject. I had come on a trip here in 1819 and had seen Awehi living on this property. He has done this since that time to this day; no one has ever objected."
