Royal Patent upon Confirmation of the Land Commission
Whereas the Board of Commissioners to Quiet Land Titles have by their decision awarded unto Joseph Booth, Claim No. 273, Part 4, an estate for life in and to the land hereafter described to go to his Hawaiian born children and their heirs, they being Hawaiian subjects forever.
Therefore, Kamehameha, by the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this royal patent, makes known unto all men, that he has, for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given unto Joseph Booth, all that certain piece of land situate at Kapuni, Pauoa, in the Island of Oahu, and described by surveyed boundaries as follows:
1st Kalo patch called Kauhi.
Commencing at North corner and running
South 58° West 56 feet thence
South 38° East 1 chain 56 1/2 feet, Thence
North 45° 30' East 49 1/2 feet, thence
North 40° West 2 chains 2 1/2 feet to place of commencement.
Containing 184 Fathoms

Commencing at East corner 41 1/2 feet South 60° West of West corner of Kauhi and running
