To the Land Commissioners: I, Kahakai, hereby explain my claim for land. I have a claim from my makuas, and before the time of Kamehameha I.

The first is Kohoo, Kawailoa kai, with two lo`i and the kula, surrounded by the lo`is of Kalua and of Kauwa ma.

The second is Oio, two lo`i, with a loko `ai /pond for taro and fish/[loko `ia?], between them.

The third is Ainaiki, with one lo`i, surrounded by the lo`is of Kaalawa and of ....
