KAMEHAMEHA III, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this his Royal Patent, makes known, unto all men, that he has for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given, absolutely, in Fee Simple unto Charles Gordon Hopkins, his faithful and loyally disposed subject for the consideration of Nine Hundred and Two Dollars & Fifty cents, paid into the Royal Exchequer, all those certain pieces of Tracts of land, situated at P[ama 1 & 2 Koolauloa in the Island of Oahu, and described as follows:

Commencing at the North West Angle, at Sea Shore and run
South 18° East 20 Chains 75 links to a large stack of [stones] on flat; Thence
South 9 1/2° East 16 Chains 88 links to a Pali, Then
South 20° East 10 Chains to a large Rock; Then
South [15 1/4°] East 9 Chains 90 links along Pahipahialua; Then
South [30 1/2°] East 23 Chains 30 links to a small Rock on a smal ....

A maloko o ia Apana 180 1/2  eka a oi iki aku, emi iki mai paha. Eia ke kumu o ka lilo ana; ua haawi mai oia iloko o ka waihona waiwai o ke Aupuni i Eiwa Haneri Kumamalua me Hapalua Dala.  Aka, ua koe i ke Aupuni na mine minerala a me na mine metala a pau.

No C.G. Hopkins ua mau aina la i haawiia, nona mau loa aku no, ma ke ano Alodio, a no kona mau hooilina, a me kona waihona, ua pili nae ka auhau a ka Poe Ahaolelo e kau like ai ma na aina alodio a pau i kela manawa i keia manawa.

A i mea e ikea'i ua kau wau i ko'u inoa, a me ka sila nui o ko Hawaii Pae Aina ma Honolulu i keia la 16 o Januari, 1851.
